The key thing that has changed is the definition of country. More specifically, the definition of country would be weaken. Ideally, I hope there would be no countries anymore in the world. All people in the world would belong to one entity and we all work hard to contribute the prosperity of humanity as a whole. Depending on the resources, technologies, and advantages each region has, different regions in the world can be split into sections that has different roles for the development of the world. The development of each section would depend on the development of other sections in the world. So, ideally, there should not be benefit conflicts between each section or at least the conflicts was minimized. After the outbreak of COVID-19, the global economy was in a recession in a long time. The situation in each country is not good. The deposition of each country and the power distribution in the world would be completed changed and reordered. The leader of each country should realize that only if we human worked together, the humanity can thrive, the economy in each country can bloom, and people in each country can gain happiness. If one country keeps suppressing other countries for its own benefit, bad consequences would in turn hurt itself.

The recent political news inspires me. At the beginning of the year, everyone thought the coronavirus pandemic was only China's problem and no one really cared about the pandemic happened there unless someone wanted to use this pandemic as a political tool. And now the outbreak of COVID-19 became the public health crisis around the globe. All humans are tied together. Even if the virus was only spread in one country, if the whole world is not going to work together to defeat it, it would soon become a problem for every country. I'm glad to see China sent out help to Italy to help them control the pandemic and a lot of countries realized the difficulty of poor countries in Africa and helped them build a better health care system to fight the spread of the virus. Unfortunately, while the whole world is cooperating together to research on this pandemic, the United States refused to cooperate with other countries. The leader here blamed China and WHO for causing the pandemic rather than solved the serious condition in its country first, decreased the funding USA provided to the WHO which was supposed to fund research on COVID-19, claimed to be the owner of the vaccine for COVID-19 if America can create it and let American people used it first rather than help other countries at the meantime and refused the donation of supplies from the country it has conflicted with only because he wanted to preserve his own political image. As we can see, the United States is the country with most cases around the world. If its leader kept refusing to cooperate with other countries and only cares about his country's own benefit, the situation in the United States would never be better.
