No Quarantine in 2060

In 2060, we recognized how crazy the coronavirus pandemic made us. We bought so much toilet paper that we had to start stacking it for our dogs to jump over. The pandemic was so similar to what we know to be the spanish influenza. We looked back and realized that we lost almost a year of our lives to a flu-like virus. Others looked back and saw how much time the coronavirus had given us to be with our families and do new things that we never would have thought about doing in our lives because we could never find time. In the year 2020, I saw the coronavirus as a time to do new things. I made scrapbooks, worked out, played sports that I never would have made time for, made a recipe book, planned trips for when I could get an RV, made new recipes and played a ton of games with my family. I was super excited to keep trying new things, but also wanted to get back to my “normal” life anticipating it to be like the year 2019.

Everyone is an inspiration to me in many different ways. I am inspired by my mom to work hard every single day. I am inspired by my brother and team to work for my spot and try to become the best athlete I can be. I am inspired by my grandpa and dad in their carefree and “do what you set your mind to” attitude. I am inspired by my boyfriend and his unconditional love and persistence. I am inspired by the students in my class to be the smartest person and do the best I can do. I am inspired by the nurses and doctors that are working so hard to find cures and vaccines for everything. I am inspired by comedians, especially Adam Sandler, to speak my mind. I am inspired by Bill Gates and his business efforts that have gotten him to where he is. I am truly inspired by the people and world around me and am excited to see where everything goes and what happens in the year 2060.
