METAMORPHOSIS
Summary
My attempt to construct a hope for the future relies on my inspiration of nature.
She did not remember how or when
But it must have been way back then
Politicians, ecologists, journalists and more
They all faced more than they could endure
That was the time of worst despair
But chaos came with its healing glare
Yesterday's daunting destruction
Beared tomorrow's hopes and salvation
After all it was in the hands of the people
Decades passed with moments of upheaval
One learned to listen, to emphasize, and to respect
The humankind needed to acknowledge the neglect
Now in the year twenty-sixty
Future is no longer sad or misty
People of the world come together in peace
As ignorance towards conflicts cease
Streets bloom all over as safe and vibrant
Because one knows how to be truthful and self-reliant
Then she stopped to think of the last time
She heard nature's alarming chime
It must have been the summer before
Technology relied on fossil fuel nevermore
Stepping up to the sacred plate
Nations united under livings' fate
Dolphins cheered along people' laughter
To unknown tones of emerald thereafter
The olden times where there to remember
What a gift life is, what a treasure
Time has lived through a caterpillar's cycle
Over and over shading for survival
Yesterday's dreams of a metamorphosis
Ends today at sight of a Tiffany butterfly
-----
Nature is and always has been my only source of inspiration. I believe that if we look more into it (referencing Biomimicry here), we could find an easier path to understand and solve most of our problems. Nature is full of growth, repetitions, change, patterns and more. It is the only value that exist which us humans did not construct. Therefore, my attempt to construct a hope for the future relies on my inspiration of nature.
