There's more than enough for everyone to have more than enough

Three keywords

Conscious, joyful, emotionally intelligent.

What is a key thing that has changed between 2020 and 2060? And, why?

In 2060 we will be more joyful and resilient. We will have realized that joy can be cultivated through inner work, such as self-awareness, compassion, and wisdom, and that there is more than enough for everyone to have more than enough. We will have understood that we all carry trauma and have become more skilled at healing, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally.

Things changed because the coronavirus lockdown in 2020 caused a broad awakening, a moment when a critical mass realized that much of the suffering was self-inflicted, something that was produced in our minds.

What will people want to remember when they think back on 2020?

That there was pain, loss, fear, and confusion, and that out of that emerged great clarity about what matters most.

Inspiring/Resonant Story: The Dalai Lama: He’s been through lots of pain and suffering and surely he must feel the pain of powerlessness as his people are being increasingly deprived of practicing their language and culture in their country of origin. And yet, he knows how to generate joy and hope.
